APO requires a period of pledgeship before receiving the full benefits of membership.  Rush is held at the beginning of the fall and spring semester. Pledges are required to complete a service project, a fundraiser, and a fellowship activity with the brothers, as well as attend pledge and initiation ceremonies.  Weekly meetings allow pledges to learn about the history of APO, our mission, and our members.
