Policies

Insanity's Horse is a student-run publication. We accept literary and art pieces of high quality from students in the College of Liberal Arts.  Submissions from students of the Theological or Graduate Schools are also welcome.  Emphasis, however, is placed on submissions from the CLA.  

If you are considering submitting to Insanity's Horse, please be aware of the our policies regarding acceptable size of submitted works and quantity accepted by the magazine.

Regarding acceptable size, Insanity's Horse accepts the following:

• Short Stories / Novel Excerpts -- 5-12 pages
• Poetry -- 10 pages
• Plays (in Manuscript form) -- 5-12 pages
• Creative Non-Fiction -- 5-12 pages

Please submit all literature in this format:

Size: 12 point
Font: Times New Roman
Spacing: Double-spaced.

We accept 6 multiple submissions per author, per e-mail. This includes Art and Literary submissions.  Multiple submissions containing more than six works will not be reviewed.  

Insanity's Horse does not accept submissions from anonymous authors.

The magazine reserves the right to pair writing with artwork.
